The research group LIDIS is developing a project called "Platform E-Science 3.0", which is described in article by (Barraza, Ordoñez, & Segovia, 2014) , which focuses on developing a group projects, tools among which is the convocations observatory, which seeks to solve the information management of convocations and scholarships for university researchers, this project in turn is divided into the following three sub-projects:
1. Development of a web portal to optimize the management of information search for calls and scholarships.
2. Characterization of information by algorithms Information Retrieval (IR).
3. Development of a recommendation system based on frequency of consultations and filtering colavorative of convocations and scholarships for research projects.
The Observatory of convocations requires three separate tools developed to collect, sort and filter information convocations, these sub projects should be allowed to integrate with each other at the end of its development for implementation.
This project focuses on the third subproject, based on the technologies proposed in the E-Science platform, development a hybrid system of recommendations that enable researchers to access information-filtered convocations and scholarships, using data collected from assessments and records user query. |
