Sumario: The present research work has as objective to know the Social Representations about the disability in a group of children belonging to the Sunday school of Jesus de Nazaret de Cutuglagua Parish, located in the south of Quito. Which took place during the months of April - October 2017, with the purpose of describing the information, the image and the attitudes around the disability. To describe these dimensions, a qualitative methodology was approached through the application of a “Creative Expression Workshop”, in which it was possible to gather information that allowed us to formulate an a priori category analysis where the most relevant data were classified in order to interpret them. From this way, it was possible to identify that the children possess information and a representative image of the disability, which generates an ambivalent burden in the affective plane that guides their behaviors toward the people with disabilities; which let to reach to the conclusions and recommendations of the investigation.
