The ecuavoley is the second sport more practiced by people from Quito. Ecuavoley
players have created a lot of urban imaginaries .Those include the language and the
clothes.
The ecuavoley is an important part of the Ecuadorian identity because of the fact that
all the different cultures forget their conflicts that permit that our country be a
pluricultural place that makes people to feel proud of their origins. Thousands of
people from different neighborhoods go to play ecuavoley in the El Ejido and La
Carolina´s courts like every single day .For that reason ecuavoley is more than a
simple game .There are too much special things around this sport, like social codes
and stories that lend people to get a especial dialect wich is easy to be understand by
all Ecuadorians .That’s way ecuavoley is an important part of the city. |
