The purpose of this article is to present a summary of the museologic and museographic projects proposed for the Centers ofinterpretation Martín Pío Concha House – Urubamba and Horno House - Ollantaytambo, both located in UrubambaProvince, Cusco Region. These two projects come to existence after the study of previous research in the fields of archeology,anthropology, architecture, ecology, structure and engineering. This allows for a clear vision of what it is to be done. Themuseologic script is relevant for each of these historic houses. Being them empty, it was necessary to place them in value andgive them a new use: Centers of interpretation.With that in mind, the central topics are expressed through the material, immaterial, religion, holidays, festivities, the earth,Vilcanota River, Andean cosmovision, technology, architectural typology among others, for the education and entertainmentof local, regional, national or international visitors. |
