Sumario: The generation of hydrological scenarios for the planning of water resource systems in a basin, these allow a contribution on territorial development about the possibilities of supply and demand for water. This project aims to compare the allocation of water resources in the study previously conducted in the micro watershed of the Quebrada Cune using the simulation model Water Evaluation and Planning System (WEAP). For the delimitation and characterization of ground units (spatial unit), were taken into account data and documents as shapefiles and records of surveys conducted in the area, which provided a characterization socio-economic, environmental and cultural, prevailing 78 systems production (farms), within them, agricultural, livestock, agricultural and agroforestry as a basis for designing measures to adapt to variability and climate change. Then, a weather station was located near to the study area that it provide a data extension for performing calculations of runoff using the curve number method proposed by the Soil Conservation Service of the United States (SCS); Values taken into account for the implementation of the WEAP model, considering a time wet, average and dry generating simulation models regarding the allocation of water resources, allowing us to asses the supply of water resources and the demand satisfied and unmet in each of the sub-basins of the micro basin Quebrada Cune. For analyze and compare the simulated results of WEAP model, in terms of water availability were formulated alternatives water resource management in the microbasin of the Quebrada Cune. The modeled results were satisfactory, since the modeling scenarios were complemented in a tool hydrological assessments, leading to generate scenarios that are converted into shares of change in the water resource management, taking into account demand projections, quantification of the supply and coverage capacity.
