Sumario: This paper develops a macroeconomic analysis of the determinants of housing prices in Bogota from the Postkeynesian and Neoclassical economic theories, in order to identify the real factors that influence the formation of the price index of new housing in Bogotá, because this is one of the cities of Colombia where more has increased the price index for housing in the last 12 years. To accomplish this, the Ordinary Least Squares method is used to measure the impact on house prices of a number of variables called conventional (Neoclassical) and unconventional (Postkeynesian), with the main result of the influence Postkeynesian variables supported the theory of financial fragility of Hyman Minsky, expressed in level of debt, rate of interest, defeated portfolio, among others.
