Sumario: This research is based on analyzing the influence of microcredit on the finances of the farmers in the municipality of Cundinamarca Cáqueza in the period between 2010 and 2014, through a quantitative approach using as a measuring instrument survey applied to farmers present in the municipality. Additionally logic regression model that allowed explanatory variables relate to the effect of microcredit on the finances of the study population was used. To support research, covering different theories, the first expounded by Muhammad Yunus who through his Grameen Bank model was able to improve the income of the population of Bangladesh, second the theory of economic development developed by Joseph Schumpeter who mentions that through the allocation of resources and the combination of existing factors can generate innovation and therefore make economic activity more efficient and profitable creditor, and finally the theory of asymmetric information and credit markets exposed by several authors who claim that the lack of information when purchasing a loan occurs more in rural areas because relevant factors which can lead to increased risk for parts unknown Finally, to compare the theoretical analysis with the empirical, we describe a number of conclusions that allowed to answer the research question were developed.
