Sumario: This research address the importance of implementing a partnership model in the fisheries sector, in the company Cold Chain of Bahia Solano, Choco. With the final purpose of identifying what are the financial, economic and social effects that have been generated from the association on its members and the community in general between the years 2010-2014, in order to demonstrate whether it can be replicated in other sectors and contribute regional development. Consequently, this research will be supported by an econometric model and a vertical and horizontal analysis, both based on interviews and surveys, applied to the Red Hot Association and independent fishermen in the same municipality as well as statistical data from state sources. From the application of these, we were able to demonstrate the relationship between variables as employment and income; the growth that has taken the cold chain and the benefits that members have agreed with the implementation this partnership model. Moreover this study achieved demonstrate the lack of government policy, economic and technological gaps in the fisheries sector.
