Sumario: Background: The aim of the research internship is to analyze the characteristics of the administrative management of family businesses Municipality of ‘El Rosal’; before, at, and after the crisis of 2008. Methods: The survey is the instrument used for analysis of the 10 companies, as a result of the sample of the population, in order to determine the administrative development before, at, and after the 2008 crisis in enterprises Family of El Rosal. Results: The research shows that in the municipality of ‘El Rosal’ 73% of economic activity is given by agriculture, within which the production of dairy products by 28% and support activities to agriculture stands at 15% (See table 1). Regarding the crisis is taken into account in three segments and identified that 90% say they have had a crisis economic environmental phenomena, and raw materials with a high cost. Conclusions: This research concludes, referring to the family business El Rosal not conducted a strategic planning to weigh up the 2008 crisis in order to anticipate and manage administrative level solutions that enable structured risk adjustments in the economic development thereof.
