Sumario: Training for work is foreseen as an essential component to reach the economic development, and it is perceived like an instrumental and dehumanizing sort of instruction. However, this research presents a different vision of this kind of training, since it was found that the students that belong to the structure named: Asistencia Administrativa, in Jose Maria Carbonell School, have improved human capabilities that enable them to access different opportunities of social and personal development. The present investigation had as a target to establish the human aspects that training for work manages within its curriculum. In order to do that, qualitative research type was chosen and case study as a method, given the specificities of the school, as the only one to offer a commercial instruction in the area where it is located, proposing beyond that, humanistic components, relevant in training for work curricula development. In order to accomplish the traced goals, techniques like the interview, observation and revision of documents were chosen, which enhanced an approaching to the population object of study, conformed by: students from cycle V, a former student, teachers and directives related to the curricular structure. Data analysis method was used for examining the information, whereas triangulation among voices of participants, the theory and the research crew perspective, was employed for interpretation.
