Sumario: The research “Inhabiting the Cultural Heritage: the study case of Anhumas-Jaguariúna railroad” reflects on how the industrialheritage is appropriated by its inhabitants. The research’s study-case is a sector of the railroad Companhia Mogiana, whichis located in the cities of Campinas and Jaguariúna, São Paulo State, Brazil. This research aims to identify the implications ofthe different appropriation forms of the industrial heritage by its inhabitants. The work is developed through the inventory ofthe railroad complex and the investigation of the appropriation forms. This article presents the analysis’ theoretical basis andthe partial results of the research.
