Based on its findings, this article contains a reflection about two main subjects which concern to universities that are preparing professional nurses: curricula in Nursing and concerns about new careers in related areas. The article emphasises about the necesity of re-leading proffesional nurses education and to consider carefully the opportunity for opening undergraduate programs in related careers, that could represent a threat for the proffesion continuity in a difficult environment.
