Sumario: In the official journal of Mexico’s Episcopal Methodist Church: El Abogado Cristiano Ilustrado, were published several scientific articles between 1885 and 1910 that shared the same religious believes of its readers. Geography is one of the sciences that stand out in this periodical publication and was talked about in Biblical readings; Sacred History and the Church massive missionary activities, especially does held in Africa. The articles published during this period also had a relation with issues of the Methodist school, the activities of the temples, and broaden evangelic propaganda. The historic studies on the specifics in the articles during this time, allows us to increase the research about the geographical society and culture of Mexico at the end of the xix Century.
