This article examines the concept of culture and its links to aesthetics, economy, and politics; today, all of these notions are inherent to cultural industries, culture policies, and the production and reception of both goods and symbolic contents. These practices, among others, will gradually be related to each other until a final unity is achieved, an indispensable unity vis-à-vis our times of international treaties and economic and cultural “integration”. |
