Sumario: The research ascertain about the senses that young persons, in the high mountain from the Colombian Andean Zone, assign to his condition as “rural youth” and if they are the same senses that give the agents of the State in the public policies of youth. From the analysis and interpretations realized, arises the category of “rural youth” including as Life Project, and in this category emerges, in turn, the subcategories of “Social Perentorium” and “Rural Social Moratorium”, subject to its consolidation through future research.
