Sumario: The incidence of cardiopulmonary arrest in children varies widely, ranging between 0.026 and 0.197 per 1,000 population under age 18 per year, the most common cause is respiratory arrest, and the approach must be initiated at an early stage and focus on the identification and management triggering event. The literature search for this review was conducted in Medline, Embase, and LILACS. The team must have clear emergency interventions to be performed, because of its timely and appropriate depends on the outcome of the patient.
