Sumario: The article aims to introduce the Franciscan theologian Geraldus Odonis (ca.1290-1349) into the medieval historiographical debate about the different solutions offered to the famous liar paradox. In the first part the author presents briefly and in a schematic way the main kinds of solution to the sophism to then analyze Odon’s text, answering the question of its originality.
