Sumario: Age becomes one of the variables that modulate the effects of unemployment. The studies that analyze the effects of unemployed over 45 years show that the consequences made are more noticeable in this age group. The attitudes toward work were explored using a sample consisted on 262 unemployed people who lives in the south of Spain. The work concludes with proposals for intervention and future research in the area.
