Sumario: This article discusses the implications of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in Company Law, and its applicability in the context of Groups of Companies. The article initially draws on the concept of CSR and its importance in modern corporate topics. In the following section, the article covers some challenges of the applicability of the CSR doctrine vis-à-vis director duties. The article then explains the manner in which CSR functions in Groups of Companies relating some potential benefits of its application within this complex company structure.
