Sumario: According to the definition provided by Michael Porter (2000), a cluster refers to a group of interconnected companies belonging to a particular economic sector, which share geographic space and are linked by common and complementary practices. First of all, a common work model between the cluster´s support team and the companies registered is agreed, thus allowing the correct funding activities, processes and projects. After that, a business model idea is developed, where strategic alliances are of primary importance in order to build economies of scale for the advantage of small and medium-size companies located in the metropolitan area of Antonio Nariño, specifically in Policarpa neighborhood, which are starting up their business ideas or have already taken time to perform different business activities for their own benefit. Not only the cluster wants to increase the productivity of those companies requiring professional advice, but also fosters employees´ growth, providing them with economic independence, business autonomy and appropriate decision-making in each one of their businesses to such degree that the support team links the emergence of new ideas, processes and methods implementation carried out in their daily tasks.. For that reason a financial tool was developed which enables to evaluate cluster sustainability alongside with the support center by having as main base surveys, interviews made to the businessmen willing to take part in the proposed methodology led by the support group, different sources of information and meetings with the businessmen in order to identify the scope of the project as well as the internal and external factors that can affect the cluster.
