Sumario: Iced tea consumption in Colombia has observed a considerable increase within the last few years. According to the marketing research firm Kantar World pane the increase in consumption by consumer in charge of the household staples/consumption as a household staple has risen3%, within that category products such as liquid tea and waters contributed the most to this growth. Additionally, it has been identified that for the 5th and 6th stratums in the drink category, liquid tea is preferred by the consumers (Consumer Insight of 2014). On the other hand, the World Health Organization have undertaken studies that identified that chronic illnesses are the leading cause of death worldwide, specifically cardiovasculardiseases,themostprominentbeingarterialhypertension(13% of deaths worldwide), * consumption of tobacco (9%), mellitus diabetes (6%),physical inactivity (6%), and overweightness and obesity (5%). Based on the prior statistics that the idea for this project was born, the main idea of this document is to present the business plan of Inga, a production and marketing company of Moringa based iced tea, through the CANVAS methodology. Currently, there exist a variety of diverse studies of the Moringa plant which corroborate some of its benefits due to its vast array of nutrients and antioxidants, the which contain preventive properties against certain chronic diseases such as diabetes, cardiovascular and respiratory diseases, and even cancer (Trees For Life,n.d). Throughout this document the economic, commercial, technical, financial viability have been evaluated, as has been that of the market. To achieve this, various engineering tools have been applied, and both quantitative and qualitative research were carried out.
