ISFx seeks the solution of two identified issues that involve the use and operation of sound effects by musicians in live performance. The first issue is about how the musician's free movement on stage its limited as result of the use of pedalboards. The second issue focuses on how the industry has standardized the use of the foot as the principal gestural executor of the effects expression and operation.
This project has as a goal the development of an audio processor that gives the musician new ways of expression and sound effects control on a live stage and frees the musicians body from a static station so that the performance with effects can go along the natural gestures of interpretation. |
