Sumario: This project proposes a solution to replace the RCA and TRS audio cables for a wireless transmission system that facilitate the installation and connection of multimedia devices. It was proposed one transmitter and multiple receivers to transmit information by specific channels. This is how the performance is expected: the transmitter is connected to the device responsible for transmitting signals (video player, music systems, etc...) and the receiver is connected to de playback device (speakers, television, video beam, etc....), both devices are powered up and the transmission starts. For all of this, it was designed an embedded system based on the wireless technology called PurePath and is in charge of receiving the audio signals, code them with an audio codec (TLV320AIC3204) and wirelessly transmitting them using a transceiver (CC8531). The Final results weren’t the expected ones, since the final device didn’t work due to welding problems in some components because of the lack of appropriate technology for optimal assembly. But thanks to the acquisition of the development kit CC85XXDK-HEADSET performance tests (transmission, distance, and power) were done on it.
