Colombia is a country that, for a long time is torn between war and peacetime. For some theorists, like Bushnell,
our nation exists in spite of herself. The Colombian legal system is a hybrid system that manages to comply with
formal guarantees at the constitutional level without sacrificing authoritarian measures. At the same time , with
the launch of a National Constituent Assembly , the country entered a new way to manage and understand the
political and legal relations between the state and citizen ; with that, he was a big step, at least at the
constitutional level , which placed the Colombian state within the new challenges of constitutionalized the right.
From this, they can attest to the victims, who have gained a space, through the recognition of their rights and
participation in courts. The Constitutional Court and the legislature (often by guideline of the Constitutional
Court) make progress in the way we understand and treat victims in Colombia. |
