The aim of this study was to design a manual of Good Manufacturing Practices for procedures performed in the manufacturing process of a LPG cylinder company CINSA SA The research approach was descriptive, explanatory, transverse. The methodology used was based on the realization of a current diagnosis of the state of infrastructure, machinery and equipment, process, service safety and health at work & process environment for manufacturing LPG cylinders through a checklist measurement. Subsequently, a manual of best practices for procedures performed in the manufacturing process in accordance with the provisions of ANSI / AWS A 2.4-93, API 650, API 653, API 1104 and AWS 3.0 Standard was designed rules.
The implementation of the manual possible to reduce by 3% the defective product and classify the opportunities for improvement in the procedures performed in the manufacturing process of a cylinder. The standardization process for the manufacture of cylinders led to improved procedures; reduce rework and defects in the finished product, in accordance with the provisions of the rules, training of operators, instructors and administrative staff. Finally, implementation and yielded manual instructions and apply four track controlling the planned annual indicator. |
