The investigation focus the study on the center of Palmira city because is the area of highest urban complexity now. Are identified the reasons that brought on the hard changes of occupation and use of this zone, establishing roles that let explore the most of the variables to employ in an edificatory and urban scheme according with this zone.
The multiple familiar buildings that have preserved their housing use downtown Palmira offer an architectonic answer to the immediate context. Never less its adaptability to new uses and with them to the social dynamics changeable is low. The architectonic characteristics of the buildings are considered like proyectual strategies for a properly architecture adapted to the present and next demands down town.
This document is constituted in three parts.
The first part contain the theorist development divided in the following items; urban (down town), architectonic (multiple familiar housing) and the social (ways of living). In the second part are the chapters referring to Palmira city, methodology, analysis of cases and proyectual recommendations. The third party contains the architectonic project summarized in a proyectual model. |
