There is a close relation in psychoanalysis, between addictions and the Name of the Father. In the following paper there is an case analysis from a movie: Candy (2006), to account for the failed position of the Name of the Father when the distance which allows at individual the constitution of own desire different from mother's desire, is absent. Through analysis, this text contemplate the idea of addiction as an answer of the individual in front of anguish however, the drug implicates the stopping of the desire because it rejects the inscription of the body in culture. |
