Sumario: The content of this work is a reflection on the concept of child sexuality from a psychoanalytic approach in the context of children’s sex education, taking body and body image into account as the main actors in the creation of child sexuality, with the purpose of reviewing how all of this adds to the subject’s psychic constitution. Freud, Dolto, Lebovici and Soulé’s contributions, among others, will bring us closer to the possibility of focusing this reflection on the practice of school institutionalism regarding the implications of sex education in early childhood.
