The objective of research was to identify the profile of the executive functioning of patients with schizophrenia on condition of not criminally responsible of the San Juan de Dios Clinic Ceja. It was evaluated a total of 15 patients diagnosed with schizophrenia on condition of not criminally responsible and 15 healthy subjects, using as an assessment tool Battery executive functions and frontal lobes (BANFE). The results show that there are significant differences in executive functioning between the two groups in the domains verbal memory and visuospatial work, concept formation, planning, organization, inhibition and mental flexibility. |
