Objective: To identify employability strategies that are used by some university professors that works in terms of flexibility in the city of Cali, Colombia. To make it, this study consider the employability and the strategies to face the work in this way of engagement. Method: this is a qualitative - descriptive study, data collection technique: depth interviews with five (5) teaching professorship hour. The information was collected transversely and treatment that was given to the data was using content analysis.
Results: the study found that the strategies that are used by the professors to be employed, can be understood as autonomous or controlled resources, as tangible or intangible kind, that are available to achieve the objectives and in this way, to position and create competitive advantage. in his typology, the study reveals: (a) social relations as insertion strategy, (b) have a second source of income, (c) the proper fulfillment of the role as a strategy of permanence, (d) the capitalization of knowledge and (e) the constant reading of the dynamics of context and mobility as a form of adaptation. |
