Sumario: Air pollution of our planet is an issue of global concern and measurement of different gases mainly classified as greenhouse has become a priority, however, the high economic costs, accessibility and public order associated with making measurements in situ in the study area have been inconvenient. Thanks to technological advances in the use of optical sensors have the opportunity to record data concentration in large swathes of territory and periodically, which allows establish time series and observe the behavior of gas evaluated through the years. In view of the above, this document presents the results of the Concentrations of tropospheric ozone and methane encountered in the Mompox Depression (Colombia), using a time series from 2002 to 2016, obtained through the use of an optical sensor (AIRS). The results show a considerable increase for Methane Tropospheric due to various anthropogenic and natural factors and stable concentrations for Tropospheric Ozone over the same period.
