Sumario: In order to analyze the way, the Club Sabatino Pequeñines of the University of San Buenaventura Medellín favors the development of executive functions in children with 4 or 5 years of age, a study was done. In which we identified, reviewed and characterized the pedagogical approach of the Club and educational intervention practices of training teachers in charge of that group. In addition, executive functions were assessed in children applying targeted games: Hanoi tower and arithmetic exercises, in order to combine evidenced in theorizing, practice and its impact on children. To this end, we selected of the group four of them, two boys and two girls, having chosen as a research method qualitative approach and as strategy multiple case study. The selection was made consciously seeking to selected children were very different to encompass the study elaborate. Within research we found the need to triangulate information about three knowledge areas: pedagogy as a base area and psychology and neurology as support areas. The confluence of these fields allowed solving different problem situations that occurred in the investigative process. In particular we found that the term executive functions have a direct relationship with multiple notions and concepts that dynamic agents of the Club Sabatino Pequeñines recognize, although there is a gap between what is formulated and what is in practice.
