Sumario: In the context of the Colombian SMEs that have implemented Business Intelligence solutions, there are various systems and analytical contents, which lack the attributes of Interoperability, as opposed to the existence of multiple roles, during the decision-making process. The decision-making process implies the existence of roles that are based on information of different nature and coming from different sources. An adequate deployment and grouping of information is what allows the performance of the functions associated with a role. From an engineering perspective, it is possible to build a software solution that allows different software tools to exchange and process data, making it possible to manage content according to established roles.
