This article tries to make a description of road safety in the company Surtigas S.A. E.S.P in its area of Cartagena, whose main business is to analyze the decrease in accident rates of employees and contractors Surtigas S.A. E.S.P, as it establishes the accident prevention program for vehicular mobilization L-908-11 of the company and the Colombian normative basis for this particular understanding of road safety as the set of actions and policies to prevent, control and reduce the risk of death or personal injury resulting from accidents caused by vehicles owned or hired on the move either motorized or no motorized in the exercise of functions related to the ordinary course of business media. A multidisciplinary approach involving measures on all
factors that contribute to traffic accidents on the road, from the road design and road equipment,
maintenance of road infrastructure, traffic control, vehicle design is used and elements of active and passive protection, vehicle inspection, driver training and driver regulations, education and information for road users, police supervision and sanctions, institutional management to care for victims which the poor condition of these roads or compliance affects the company Surtigas SAESP as it may have an accident or incident. |
