This thesis work is carried out in Cartagena de Indias in the Barrio Olaya Herrera Sector Ricaurte from the current living conditions of the population, which proposes to revive the concept of public space as a valuable component in the transformation of a territory of Vital importance to green areas, recreation areas, furnishings, protection zones or ecosystem borders and road infrastructure, which must be accompanied by a set of dynamics and uses that give meaning to these places, with a tendency to impact on growth Of a community from the urban and architectural point of view. In the project of restructuring of public space is implicit to attend one of the main problems that is the flood, a very important factor within the proposal that will give an added plus and will be a determinant of design in the quest to increase the quality Of the inhabitants of the sector, through an urban treatment that will serve as a pilot project to be implemented in neighborhoods with similar conditions linked to an architectural proposal articulated to the specific public space that seeks to emphasize the development social of a community. |
