Sumario: This document evidences a proposal focused on the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process of garment manufacturing in the company CONFECCIONES YAKOLI SAS, which is mainly based on making and Maquilar garments for the leading client company in its sector (QUEST). The development of this proposal consists of designing a continuous improvement plan based on the Lean 6 Sigma methodology DMAIC tool, in order to reduce the amount of waste that occurs at the time of producing the different references of clothing, Taking as a measure of waste measurement, noncompliant (defective) units based on the requirements established by the YAKOLI SAS Confections Customer. The waste directly affects the overall cost of the company, because in producing defective units, these must be reprocessed in the production floor assuming additional costs for defects. Due to this it is decided to evaluate the feasibility of each of the improvements proposed in this project to reduce up to 50% the number of defective units and positively impact on the operating costs of the company Confecciones YAKOLI SAS.
