The article presents a descriptive research and exploratory interest, the level of digital literacy which is in a group of freshmen in Psychology, a private denominational University, which offers educational services to disadvantaged socioeconomic groups.The professionalization program in Psychology has a duration of five years, is reaccredited in high quality by the MEN-Colombia, and from July 2015, was officially registered in I and II semester to 161 students, soon, by 2020 -2021, were discharged and inserted in the labor world from the full exercise as professional psychologists. For the evaluation of the basic digital skills themselves who is digitally literate, an instrument called CODIESUN (Questionnaire Digital Skills for University Students), through which the knowledge, use and control of the eleven basic technological tools was assessed it was designed that the literature shows, is expected to know, use and master, Alfabetización Digital en Universitarios de Psicología: Evaluación de Competencias Digitales Básicas a través del cuestionario CODIESUN 2015 who is listed as literate a second time, this time in the digital realm. In turn, through the instrument, the thinking skills of lower and higher order, according to Bloom's Taxonomy in the digital age, is being developed and strengthened to use, learn and master digital tools in question were identified.The results show heterogeneity in the level of digital literacy of the population under study, and show a paradoxical trend visible in the marked ability to remember, understand and analyze using tools such as word processing, social networking and online storage while there is little development of superior skills as implement, evaluate and create, using tools such as blogs, wikis, web pages, conceptual mind maps, among others. In other words, the knowledge, use and mastery of the tools evaluated, shows that the study population favors tools that come into play lower mental abilities as recall and apply, while placed in a secondary line and minor tools that knowledge, use and control, brings into play higher mental skills like creating, producing, validating and evaluating.The study serves as a baseline for educational input and output, as well as to detect, according to the learning goals of the race, the place, importance and significance of digital skills in the training of psychologists future, According to the added value that is expected to provide the university, professional trends of the century, and according to job opportunities that are designed and configured in a program considered for the second time with high quality. |
