This paper describes the features and trends in the Colombian context of an activity over several decades has been carried out by those characters in charge of playing music at events, clubs and radio, known worldwide as DJ’s or Disc Jockeys. With a turnout of fifty respondents the sector on mention and different parts of Colombia, are collected personal data from said sample, genres, formats currently in use, perceptions, opinions and attitudes that facilitate professional success. Finally, a possible line of research is postulated in the field of psychoacoustics to address an empty space, which does not reach technological developments in the field. |
