The present study centers on understanding how family relationships, the management of sexuality and the life project characterized in three homosexual men with HIV infection. It is a descriptive investigation; that included the participation of four homosexual men of different age groups. Semi-structured interviews were used. It was found that family is important inside the dynamics of sexual risk behavior and life project construction in homosexual men, given the existing affective implications, as well as the possible rejection or acceptance of the disease by the family, allowing the person with HIV, be able to have emotional support, which could lead to its life project mobilization and stabilization. |
