Sumario: In each of his works, Camus presents the human condition from what is absurd, emphasizing on different issues of life: suicide, illness, death, war, and plagues, being these metaphors of human absurdity, not in a literal sense but rather in a spiritual sense, which is crucial for the human tendency to rebel and empower his own life and happiness. Death is the opposite of life; it is to succumb to absurdity either through disease or through suicide. Death is the human inability to rethink the subjective truth of their existence. Finally, he presents the greatness of man, which is only knowable through the sensitivity and delicacy of spirituality, where the person recognizes his limitations and strengths.
