Latin America has experienced a constant mimesis in relation to Europe regarding the production of architecture. This has generated a great confusion by reason of the proliferation of proposals supported by the crisis of the modern world occurring from the fifties in developed countries, which started to reflect in Latin America in the early eighties. This article aims to review the major aesthetic trends that influence the architecture of Cali in the modern world and to include local stories from the last decades of the twentieth century, which relate to both Latin American and international contexts. |
