Sumario: Introduction: The fissure lip court is the most common craniofacial congenital anomaly. The children who are born with fissure lip court can turn affected by a combination of facial alterations, the swallowing and disorders of the speech, and several disorders of the dentition and the growth. I target: the paper of the relatives Characterizes in the process of the treatment patients' speech therapy with fissure lip court. Methodology: to elaborate this review of topic there was used a strategy of bibliographical systematized search, by means of electronic, such sources of information as: Science Direct, Scopus, Springer and EBSCO published between the year 2007 and 2017. The key words were taken so much in Spanish as in English using the tesauros MeSH And Decs in Spanish: <<Fissure lip court>>, <<Treatment>>, <<Relatives>>, <(You) <Guide>>, <<Recommendations>> and Englishman: <<Cleft lip and palate>>, <<Treatment>>, <<Family>>, <<Guides>>, <<Recommendations>>. Joined by the Boolean operator (AND). For the selection of the articles the following criteria were defined: 1) That the object of study corresponds to the characterization the paper of the relatives in the process of the patients' treatment with fissure lip court. 2) Designs of investigation corresponding to experimental studies. 3) original Studies. Conclusion: On having finished this article of review there demonstrates the importance of the paper of the relatives in the treatment fonoaudiológico of patients with fissure lip court.
