Today, organizations are concerned with competitiveness, its importance in increasing productivity and reducing costs. Porter (1991) stated that the conditions of demand, competition, business strategies, competitiveness of industries and supporting industries, coordinated among themselves, encourage the creation of a team of companies that are subcontracted from the services that support This article is the result of a research developed in the metal-mechanic sector -subsector spare parts- in the municipalities of Cali and Yumbo, which shows the opportunity that organizations have when developing a team around associative projects between companies, establishing as well training airplanes in innovation and marketing for entrepreneurs. This allows them to enter the world of global competitiveness and contribute to the productive improvement of the regions. On the other hand, associated with competitiveness, is the specialization of tasks to improve the productivity of the regions. This increases with the organizational incentive of companies and technological innovation, mechanisms to take advantage of the shared knowledge of entrepreneurs. This shows that innovation is a factor of competitiveness that facilitates the implementation of a cluster in the region. |
