Sumario: In this paper we explore some aspects of Hannah Arendt’s thought: First, her reflections on the wickedness manifested in the horror of the Holocaust based on the trial held in Jerusalem in 1961, against the Nazi war criminal Adolf Eichmann. On the other hand, her view on totalitarianism, i.e. on what she states as a striking similarity between the totalitarianism of the left and that one of the right, despite their political antagonism and finally, the controversial situation generated by her position as a conservative thinker, a trend that may be perceived throughout her work, but in order to understand it, we must review what the term conservative means to her.
