The toy market in Colombia is a segment that shows increasingly greater opportunities to grow, because it concentrates a third of the population in children, with 14 million potential consumer, according to the National Bureau of Statistics DANE , the report called Estimates and projections of national, departmental and municipal population by sex, five year age groups and single ages 0 to 26 years from 1985 to 2020, May 2009. It has a movement of about 660 billion pesos, Raddar data (cited by Molina, 2012) , and an offer made by imports from other countries. This stage with the signing of the FTA with the United States, becomes a great business opportunity identified in differentiation that can offer the introduction of new marketing channel via the Internet or E -commerce , where in Colombia does not exist yet for this segment a page specialized for selling their products. |
