The text is the result of the inquiry about the impact that generated the day unique in the educational management in public and private educational institutions referring two of the city of Santiago de Cali: Santa Librada (public) and San Francisco de Asis (private). To be the sole day a strategy implemented by the Ministry of national education (MEN) to improve the quality of education in the country, and taking into account shortly after leading implementation, understanding that to be developed into institutions changes generated both at the academic level as management. In that sense, is search by the way as the two institutions are going forward the process of implementation of such day, in relation to the management of senior executives, technical, logistics, human resource mobilization that has involved extending the time of formation of the students. Work shows that the day only, although it has been implemented in both institutions, Santa Librada, which is that of a public character have not necessary adjustments so that it complies with the proposed objective, while in San Francisco, which is of a private nature changes have been made to make it work. |
