Sumario: Coping strategies have been a concept that has been worked on and developed since the middle of the last century and which aims to explain and understand the ways in which the organism and the individual react to external stressors through the management of emotions; For the interests of this research work will be focused on identifying coping strategies in patients with chronic neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, Epilepsy and Multiple Sclerosis, these pathologies being the external stressors to be faced by the individual. Objective: to identify coping strategies in patients with chronic neurological diseases. Method: To achieve the objective of this research, case studies of three female patients were conducted, with which semi-structured interviews were conducted in order to explore their experiences with the disease and the application of the psychometric test. Coping Inventory for Adults , proposed by Moos (2010). Results: the information was analyzed from a mixed cut (qualitative and quantitative type).
