Sumario: This research shows the results obtained after investigating the students motivations from 20 de Julio High School to tattoo and pierce their bodies. The research was carried out based on young people´s experience interviewed, and through a qualitative approach - interpretative that led us to understand the meaning that students have about using of tattoos and piercing, the reasons that lead them to make tattoos and piercings, as also the importance which they have the body, it could also reveal the meanings that students have about the concepts of those who judge the use of these practices.
