The industrial landscape in the metropolitan area in this modern age, as a point of start in this research proposes to expose each element, and then establish as a principal objective the projection of this places through an experimental approach with photographs, data and scientific sources; this way of looking the subject in different scales, dimensions, teorics and conceptuals concepts by analysis and comprehension, allows possibilities of improvement in the declined industry. Based in the investigation process and how to approach this industrial areas in disuse, reflecting in those non industrial locations a possible intervention focused in a experiential experience, taking into convergence art and architecture with the purpose of fully understand and appreciate the compliment between this two disciplines and discover in the environment new
ways of living in disadvantaged spaces because of deterioration. the research shows the need of creating a intervention, through an installation in a uninhabited industrial building, that enrich the development and allows further urban encounters, amplifying at the same time the path of this unexplored and unproductive territories; making them into a cultural hybrid between industrial aesthetics and constructions built in naturals and artificials locations; forming places within NO place appropriating the name (viewer) of the space by the artefact (installation), enable microclimates among two ideas, art as a creation of atmospheres and the industrial architecture. |
