Sumario: The present paper introduces the case of study conducted to a 11 years old patient with Generalized anxiety disorder, which in often depicted by tachycardia, hands sweating, headache, dizziness, stomach ache, restlessness, poor impulsive control, isolation, and avoidance, at the moment of taking a test, play a baseball championship and/or socialize. The evaluation was made through semi-structured interview to the patient and his family circle and the application of evaluation instruments. Lastly, a cognitive behavioral intervention were made, divided in five phases formed by: Psychoeducation, relaxation, cognitive restructuring, and monitoring, giving as a result a significant improvement in the patient.
